Lieutenant Governor
Joe Scarnati
Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati
became Pennsylvania's 31st Lieutenant Governor with the passing of
Catherine Baker Knoll. The Senator will fill
out the remainder of Lieutenant Governor Knoll's term, which ends
January 18, 2011.
Pennsylvania's Constitution
requires
Senator Scarnati to hold both the Lieutenant Governor and
State Senate positions simultaneously.

County, Senator Scarnati is currently serving his fourth year
representing the residents of the 25th District, which includes all

the institution more open and accessible to the citizens of the
Commonwealth.
Senator Scarnati's main priority
